Guess it depends on whether you get your hands on that paint, Cletus! :D

I think shiny wheels make a truck look 100% better whether it is a beater, rat rod, or full blown show truck.. just my :2cents:

it got dark quick, but you get the idea. just a quick scrub on the wheel with some 0000 steel wool and shiny cap.

I think shiny is a more of a finished look. I think shiny would look better if you repainted the grill and bumper and wheels.

Shiny! But you gotta paint those wheels.

Red wheels (just not too bright - Ox blood?) & the shinys - just what works.
Start saving for a set of wide whites.........................
Red & white pinstripping around the door handles, hood ornament, fender emblems, and across the top of the tailgate.
Ditch the rear bumper - mod a roll pan to bolt in & paint it.

Either that or change the interior trim color and roll with it outside too.
I know the red & white seem very typical but your truck will pull it off - jus sayin................
Set of lakes wouldn't hurt.................
Just don't get those poser things with the 3 outlets.

lol. smart ass rick.
greg, i think white wheels will work on this truck. i wouldn't mind painting the center of the side trim red though.

You are right,
stripping it it with red & white still pulls it all together too.
Paint the trim? do it the easy way bro - 3M red trim tape.
Find a sign shop and have them cut you a strip. If ya get tired of it peel it off, you could also do white that way too.
I like the red on the caps idea with the white wheels BTW!

You do know if you get 90s steelies they have a larger center hole.
You can then get push through bullet center caps, add a set of chrome lug nuts and you have your spider cap look.
Actually this is a step up from spider caps cause it's the real deal.
