Toyota Power Steering Help

I am trying to find a company that sells the Toyota conversion.I did a search here and on the internet and all I could find was a kit for early to mid 50's trucks.I know that I have seen them and was sure that CPP had a kit but all they have now is R&P.The rack conversion will not work on my drop axle, found that out the hard way.I bought one and thought I could make it work but ended up being more of a PITA than it was worth.Oh well live and learn.

You should be able to use the 53-56 conversion with little modification.
Pitman arm would be the biggest issue, think it would be too short - but that may help with your drop axle.
I think Skip made his own bracket for his too.

I had thought about that Greg and you nailed it-I have concerns about the pitman arm.If it comes to it I will use that kit.I was just looking for a little more user friendly version.

Ah, come on - go for it Eric.
Good excuse to melt a little wire.
I have gotten to the point were I look forward to having to fab something so I get out the MIG.
Nothin like a cold brew and hot gluing some steel - now there's a fun Saturday afternoon!

No one sells a complete bolt on kit that I could find, look up some of my old posts and you can see how I did mine, you'll need a TIG to do the pitman arm.

I just dug out my "No Limit" catalog and looked up their power steering kit for Ford trucks.
They show a kit for 53-60 Ford trucks which would also work on 61-64 Ford trucks
I am sure. And they come with a custom built pitman arm. http://www.nolimit.net.
Just punched the website in on the net and it came right up, so they are still around.
I had thought about getting a setup like that for a couple of trucks I have too. TR

I looked at NoLimit's web site and could not find a kit.I am going to contact them and check. The catalog that I have does not have any in it either.Looks like they may of had one but not now.The catalog I have accually has pages torn out of it to remove deleted items.I will let you know as soon as I find out.Bob's F100's can do a kit and there is one more that I found that has a kit for 61-64 trucks but is pricey. Thanks for all the help by the way. :D
