dash holes?

Post by turtle1056 »

Hi all

I just purchased the thin chrome trim that goes midway up on the dash both sides of the instrument cluster.

Does anyone have a pic of the dash hole locations and the drill size, so I can install these two pieces correctly?

thanks guys

I "think" I remember them being 5/16" but someone will check that out. FYI, there are two different length clips for the trim. Two of them are longer than the others. The short ones fit flat, the two longer ones go where the trim curves to match the contour in the dash.
The holes are ever so slightly (to me) above the center line crease in the dash where the trim goes. Don't know any better way to describe it.
Hope someone else will come on here and give you a better description.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

clips are installed in the trim, as per factory as they are held from falling out by a little blob at the place where they were put into the trim

I am hopeful someone can verify the location and size of the holes

A pic to ckr5610@hotmail.com would help immensely

thanks

Yeah, I've just got to find time to get out there. If no one else answers, bear with me!

The holes are 7/32. Here are some pics. If you need any more measurements, let me know.jimImageImageImageImageImageImage
