Portland swap meet, looking for truck boxes

Post by cooter »

Portland swap meet is coming soon, who is going? If anyone knows of 1973-79 ford or 73-87 chev truck boxes for sale I will be looking for short and long boxes (must be in good shape)

Are you interested in new box sides as well? I am helping my uncle clean out is shop and he has a new replacement box side for a long box truck for those years. Think it was a right side...

I live about 40 minutes from the swap meet area.

I live in Portland and my buddy will have a booth at the meet, so I'll be there for sure.

we should get a group together for beverages one evening. I would consider sides and tailgates.

April 4,5,6 are swap meet days. you know you are a motorhead when you drive 2 days to look at a bunch of used parts and then drive 2 more days to get home!

I am going to the swap meet on Thursday that takes place around Portland International Raceway. I typically go thu-sunday but work got in the way this year. Done real well on Thursdays. Hope to see a bunch of guys there this year.

I'll be there Friday, looking for a motor, or a Hupmobile... Probably be a few of both.

I want 'em, but my current needs are for a new engine...

Hopefully we can work something out eventually.
