Thanks for looking, I'm thinking of relocating my 3 speed from the colunm to the floor, but what would that take to do ,plan on keeping tranny the same ,just want shifter on the floor ? any info would help.

I believe hurst makes a shifter kit for this sort of thing.
Try, NPD or Summit

Mr. Gasket makes a cheap one. I've got one in mine. I have some play in it, but I really think it's bushings on the transmission not the shifter as I've adjusted the shifter. I'd have kept the column shift but the PO had changed it out.

Hurst makes the best one,, see if you can get it with the removable stick casue they do have a stick that is for the trucks only that has a tall stick shaped for the bench seat

The other guys are correct, the Hurst "Master Shifter" is definitely the best. The stick bolts on and the long one works real well with a bench seat. I have had one in my '66 for over 20 years and over 300,000 miles and it still works great. You can replace the bushings and it feels like a new shifter again.
On a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust.
