What size booster are you running?

Post by Southern64 »

I have a '64 about to get a 302. I just put discs on the front, keeping the drums in the rear. Wondering what size booster I should run ? Any have this booster:

If you are going to buy new MB marketing sells a bolt on kit with a 7" dual booster and master cylinder with proportiong valve, brackets, and pedal rod. You can also change the booster size if you like.

if you are having issues with space and are running power steering a hydroboost is an option, you just have to use a high pressure power steering pump, that has been my biggest issue, will probably switch over to a saginaw style pump on mine

I'm using a 1982 chevy assy. Had to modifie rod lenght and bracket almost a bolt up deal. Also used spliter block ,using 2001 camaro calipers and rotors.I bought m/c, booster, and block &lines from local salvage yard real cheap! $25.00 I'm using a 2001 camaro cross member, with no problems yet.
