Local trucks. (potentially not dialup friendly)

Post by Slick Fan »

How about pics of trucks around your general area? I've got a few I've been collecting off & on for a year or so.
I looked a little for another similar thread, but didn't find one. Sorry if I missed it.

This was on my way to work one morning, outside a repair shop. I was in a hurry & wasn't able to look very close.

Of course, you remember this little jewel from the other thread

This was for sale about a year ago.
I happened to see it broke down on the freeway two separate times a while later...I'm guessing it had "issues". :D

I'm gonna go knock on this guy's door one day soon...

This might still be for sale, I'm still thinking about it. It's pretty rusty & that paint is damned near pink! :?

Notice the optional Vise-grip window crank.

My pics show up full size because I've linked them here from my pic hosting site. If you have yours on a similar site, just hit "quote" on one of my above posts & you'll see how I did mine, otherwise, just follow the instructions in the link above. :)

That blue flamed 4x4 in the 4th pic, isn't that the same truck on Craigslist in the Seattle area now with the Dodge frame? So it was in UT before? Hmmm....

I don't have any more pics of it. I can tell you it has dropped beams w/bags in the front, and a four link (I think) w/bags in the rear.

Well by the horible camber on the front it is on a stock front end.

This looks like a cool truck!

this is an example of what NOT to do on your front end, in my opinion.

All the trucks around here are resty and beat to hell.

I seriously doubt it's stock. I bet he has air bags on it and they will do that to camber at slammed levels. You don't drive it like that, except for maybe 5mph cruising into you parking spot at the car show.
Edit, OH! Haha, J-Mac beat me to it. Didn't see the fine print at the bottom of the post! :D

Hey Slick Fan....thanks for the link on how to post my pics :D

So here they are............

This 65 F-100 is only 10 mins from me....I found it while exploring the area where I just moved......no box :( but pretty much everything else is there, has a 300 six (same as my truck) I thought about picking it up for parts :hm:

[albumimg]949[/albumimg]

The next three pics aren't really from my "local area" but I thought I would include them anyway.....I found these while visiting family in Alberta....I just went for a walk, and couldn't believe what I saw.......it was so cool!!!

64-65 F-100 and 65 Mercury???...just guessing
[albumimg]930[/albumimg]

[albumimg]929[/albumimg]

64 Mercury 1 Ton???...I'm not sure...maybe one of you know??
[albumimg]931[/albumimg]

Thanks for letting me share these...I love finding slicks, especially when you don't expect it....
