the f600 wrecker i used to have and my friends f600 dump had the same pattern.takes a while to get used to, 5th gear is the same as 4th in the np435, and 1 is a bit lower than the 435.

You rarely ever use the granny gear in those. It isn't hard to do once you're used to it. Most beginers have a problem because by the time they get from 1st ro 2nd, the truck is stopped again............
We have a pete at work that the top two gears are backwards. It shifts in a W pattern in low or high range. Its a road ranger 10 speed. They say it will make the big trucks run faster.
