I think the Chevy motor is a nice touch. It really sets the truck off and gives it reliability! Just my opinion.

wha.gif point.gif Sets the truck Off and gives it reliability ?? :rotflmao: Good One! :rotflmao:

www.highflowdynamics.com

Scroll down left side menu click where the Ford & Brand X are compared, and if you can read & understand
the facts stated in the comparison you wouldn't even joke about the Orange Replacement engine as a
reliable engine. Especially a 400Cid which has both center cylinders on both banks conjoined or siamese
so both cylinders get less coolant across their outer walls than any of the 4 remaining independent cyls.
In other words only 50% of a Blowtie 400 Cid is cooled internally. So Now you know why they are called....

I know it's your opinion but give me a break. It's the silliest thing I have read in a long long time . . . . nono.gif down_1_Revan.gif

I was being serious, I think the chevy motor is a way better engine. Why is that you see 32-34 ford street rods with mainly chevy motors, they hardly ever use a ford motor and when they do I have seen many of them bring a lot less money. I have been to high flow dynamics before and read all of their material. Yes the 400ci do tend to over heat but if you are willing to spend the money on a good aluminum radiator it isn't usually problem. Another question why is the small block chevy the most popular engine on earth? Also why is it that on pinks the guy with a chevy usually wins? Who know maybe it was fluke I how ever I'm not surprised when they do. I just think there better engines and have more readily available parts at a better cost. I would take a chevy over a ford any day. Cause at the end of the day I don't be the one sitting on the side of the road. lol I guess you can tell I'm not really much of a ford guy.
