Are those bullet holes? Did you shoot your truck in frustration? :cussing:

Re: Sod

Yeah my four speed 66 has the granny gear that's crazy low. I never use it. I was curious cause I have a pop up camper that I pull with an SUV and I had to learn all the towing stuff, and how not to burn out the tranny etc etc... My truck has a hitch ball on the bumper that I've never used. Thinking...

That's great! What hitch do you have on it? Does anyone know what these are rated to pull?

Re: Are there any car guys working in parts stores anymore??

Sounds like I'll have to try NAPA. I don't have one super close but might be worth the drive.

Are there any car guys working in parts stores anymore???

I've come to the conclusion that the parts stores in my city really stink. I get it that people don't work on cars that much anymore and they don't need to stock all this older stuff, but these guys don't even know general car parts and their functions. :cussing: :cussing: I know very little but lea...

If you have a weekend to spare and want to make a road trip bring it on over and I will assist you in installing the seat belts. That way you can do most of it yourself. We should be able to do it in a days time. I've got all the tools and equipment to do it. That's a very generous offer! If I can ...

My son has been 96th percentile since he was 6 months so he's been in the booster for awhile. Big kid.

That's funny I too remember 'driving' in my Dad's lap. And he was smoking at the same time. He'd be public enemy #1 in today's society. Think I'll pay someone to install. I hate to not do it myself but want it done right. No sure I can find someone in Seattle.

Kids Seat

Is anyone using a kid's booster seat with the lap belts? I have a four year old and would love to be able to have him in the truck. I'm hesitant to try the shoulder belt conversion, as I don't know if I'm that skilled.

Does anyone know about the heat riser as to how it functions once the truck is warmed up? Does it just stay open?

Exhaust pipe gaskets & heat riser

Hi, I finally have my 66 F100 apart and I've removed the exhaust manifolds due to high end exhaust leaks. Im not quite sure I have the right gaskets and after looking through LMC and Dennis Carpenter Im even more confused. Is the heat riser supposed to have gaskets on either side of it? If so...
