Cool truck. Don't know what the title says, but the grill and front clip are from a 63 not a 66.

About $16,000 overpriced for what a restored truck should bring.
Restored GH trucks are going for about $30,000. That one has been sitting for sale for awhile. He also has a 65 Chevy priced much better.

I guess authenticity of the ice cream body has a higher priority than the authenticity of the truck body.

Over the years, they hacked these trucks up like crazy. They would steal what ever they needed off one of the other trucks, to get it back on the road. Smash up the right frender, steal one of the truck with the left side smashed up. Need a front end, steal it off the truck with the blown motor.
They were all the same color, same drivetrain, so stealing parts was easy.

Your right the freezer box, with good Porcelain sides are the important thing for the price.
