it looks too much like a c-10 from the front to me. and that dash has been crazy modified. i do like the bed side interior treatments with the boxes though.

It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
Well I lost that bet on the engine. I wonder why he didn't list it in the add?

Eagle One Award. Best Truck 2002
Excellence in Class Award, Cavalcade of Cars, Hamburg, New York, 2002
Condition:
Excellent. Judged to be one of the finest modified show vehicles in the country. Design by Dick Metz and built by Steve Pierce and a crew of the most talented craftsmen in New England. “Moonliner” is an ordinary truck redesigned as an art object, without loss of the original styling concept. The finished pickup is readily recognizable as a Ford, but in fact, there are a few if any unmodified components on this vehicle. The subtlety and thoughtful execution of the modifications has drawn praise not only from the casual show attendee, but also and perhaps more importantly from fellow custom car builders.

Why would any one want to cover something like that up. I hate engine covers, that's what hoods are for. This thing looks like its got a second hood under the hood.Engine:

SBC is a defunct phone company, not an engine option.

Seems like it would trap a lot of heat too but being a trailer queen trophy chaser I doubt it runs for any long periods of time.BlueGhost wrote:Why would any one want to cover something like that up. i wouldn't look twice at it on the street. add in the price tag and it becomes laughable. maybe they're fishing.
whoever modified it spent too much time and energy on individual details and not enough thought about what their end product would be. not exactly a masterpiece.
but i bet someone out in ebay land would pay alot for it. pbly not $100,000.00 though.

I see he has done a MOD that I once did ! He closed up the holes in the upper valance..right below the front section of the hood. I made one, welded in the plugs..ground on it, got it looking real good..Then i tried to put it on the truck..it wouldn't fit !
Either I welded in a flex when it was hot, or the piece was twisted when I got it..and I didn't realize..
Either way it was not gonna bolt up when I was done...

Make him an offer including the garage. Everything's negotiable.

Lose the outdated paint job (I really do not like fades), the spare tire in the tonneau, the rediculous engine cover, and the grill & headlight nightmare. Man, who thought those were stellar ideas? I do like the bed work, with the extra boxes and such...The interior is very nice as well. LOVE the steering wheel.
Is it me, or is the dash pad a different shade of blue, compared to the seat inserts and such?
