I remember a thread here about the big cut out fenders. Anyone remember where it was? Wondering what trucks they came on... would like to try to find a set.

So does that blue one have paddles on the front or chains?! Good deal for a pair of rare slicks.

Bought the green one for $300 dollars. It is in pretty bad shape but I should be able to salvage alot of the parts I need. It is a 65 f100 4x4. If I wasnt already working the 63 f250 this would be my 4x4 project. It is a FE powered truck to boot looks like motor is all there. Unkown wether it runs or not. Ill post up some pics when I get it home.

$300 nice deal, seems like you could just offer about $600 less in cash than the asking and be safe. I never know what to ask for things when the list $1000 or $2000. clearly the area has to do with much of it.

Yes Gregg I think you are correct on the area. We may have a few more slicks around this area as it is a big agrecultural area logging and mining to boot. Not as much rust as the winters are not as harsh as back east. My wife is the wheeler dealer as she started him out low and then we went up to what he paid for it. He has 2 other slick 4x4s he is working on the yellow one in the add and another one he is making into a short box 4x4. Its to bad you dont live out this way Im sure we could hook you up with a good cab. He had 2 nice 65-66 cabs out in back of his shop. When I saw those I thought about you and your situation.

Here is the parts truck for $300 +$75 to tilt bed it home.. Lots of good needed parts. Core support appears to be rust free. Rigth inner fender is proper one for 4x4. 2 large opening fenders. Front valance to use on the 4x4 is in excellent shape 1 minor dent no rust. Floor on passanger side is salvageble to use for battery under floor. Rear cab corners appear solid but cant tell for sure till bed is pulled back.

The bed floor is to rusted to use the windshield should be usable if I can rubb out a broken winshield wiper scratch. Trans is a 4speed still there and a transfer case is there. There is almost 4 inches of dirt built up under the seat I think this has been a wheat farm truck most of its life now some donated parts will keep it living on.

great score! i'd say the core support and lower valance were worth the price.

I agree and then add in the large wheel opening fenders rt side inner front fender and battery in the floor opening . Great find they dont come along too often. Ive been watching craigslist for a long time now. Anyone have a line on the large 4 spoke steering wheel I think thats all I have left to get. both of mine are non repairable they are too worn out.
