292 Rocker Question

Post by Rusted64 »

This question is for those who have rebuilt the 292 engine.

What end do the oil outlet tube go on for the rockers?

I have the manual but it is a little confusing.

I am thinking that one goes to the front so the oil would flow to the back, and the other goes toward the back, just not sure.

I dont trust the previous assembly, as I had 3 number 5 pistons along with other odd things.

Thanks,

They just don't make them like they used to.

Oil outlet tubes are in front on passenger side (#1 cylinder) and in rear on driver side (#8 cylinder).
