Re: DukeRoche's 64 restore
I know how you feel about the paint. I was going to try it myself, but I didn't want to cut my teeth on grandpa's truck, so I farmed it out.

Not sure really. Don't know the difference. I guess I just assumed power steering is power steering.
Re: DukeRoche's 64 restore
I hear you Don. I might attempt to paint a bumper or something. But the majority is getting farmed out.
Re: DukeRoche's 64 restore
Matt, painting isn't that hard. Just takes some practice.
Try painting some small pieces with a spraygun.
You can get oilbase enamel at tractor supply in quarts and gallons.
Thin it about 10-20% with Naptha (also available at Tractor Supply.)
It is implement paint for farm equipment, but you can paint about anything
metal with it. Sand your old cab and practice on it. TR

Here the frame back from the blaster. Due to a mix up on their part I got it blasted, treated, primed and painted for $159. I think it came out pretty good. Let me know what you think.

On a side note I thanked the guy for not trying to charge me for the mistake and am buying his crew lunch this week.

Re: DukeRoche's 64 restore
Is it wet? or just pitted from rust.... hard to tell.
Re: DukeRoche's 64 restore
A little bit of both but mostly pitted.
