I like the little Shriner guy on the dashboard.
For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble

My '63 short wrongbed

"The Iron Rhino"
300 I6, 3 spd manual, DS II/ HEI ignition.

Stuff I added to Hints and tricks

-300-6 choke tube repair
-duraspark II/ HEI
-Horn ring contact tube repair
-turn signal indicator fix

Mikhail Kalashnikov and Nikola Tesla are the guys i think of when i build things.

Whats the brass thing under the dash?
If it cain't be fixed with a sledge hammer it must be an electrical problem!

Thanks BarnieTrk. The Shifter Is Not Original, The PO Had Cut The Old One Down And Tried To Re-thread It For This After Market Shift Knob. Looks Like He Failed A Couple Of Times (Real Short) I Cut Off The Old One And Welded This One On. It Sticks Up Above The Steering Wheel Now. I Like It, And It Has The Right Threads For A Sixties Ford Knob..........

My pop put a transmission in our 66 from a 1 ton truck I think..it has that nearly exact same shifter.. You feel like a MAN shifting with that big ole chunk of steel ... Always liked that about Pops truck. :)

Sweet - I like the red marbles in the knob ends! NICE!

Looks like the handy, clamp-on flashlight is about as old as the brass fire extinguisher...... and they both look to be older than the truck!
