Lance as you already know I am about to head down this same skeery Uni/Crown vic path . Looking at your pics I am wondering what you used for the bushings on the body mounts . Care to help a feller out and enlighten him in slick/ltd zen :D.

I am afraid I can't point you to a known product on this one.. One day KID, "who is a natural born scrounger"
Shows up with a big box of rubber grommets, I don't know where he finds stuff, but If I ever asked him for something he would ALWAYS find 2 of them "at minimum" and then I would pick the best ;)

It seems to me though there were some decent sized rubber body mounts on the Vic ? the ones I used are about the size of a hockey puc, slightly thicker, and way softer...

Sorry no definite answer for you on this one !

Sweet mother of pearl.. I done shot some Dupont Water born gray on my parts that done looks like primer :P

My buddy even made me MAKE the paint with his paint system, the computer tells you which pigments to use next, it meters out the pigment by weight, then its on to the next tint.. crazy high tech setup...

Shooting the new Dupont Waterborn was a little weird, but painting flat primer gray paint over flat gray primer was a MOTHER to read.. It will be much easier when I get to the White stage of the game.. My buddy was giving me some grief, telling me I am in a small select group of people that have shot the new Dupont Water Born product. Man he has some high tech stuff you can't believe. We actually got my grey color off of his turbine powered GIANT RC F-16. He has this insanely expensive camera that takes three pics and sends the pc the color specs..

Its always fun playing with other peoples toys :)

Thanks Clarke !

Some stuff looks better than I hoped, a couple spots I thought I had whooped got the last laugh !

Thats the beauty of flat paint on an ole truck..

I am pretty happy with everything, and liking my color choices more and more.

The look on my face when he told me to start painting...

Rick, If I can find one I will send it to you

I went and helped foodstick get some parts home from the paint both this weekend and all I can say is FRICKING WOW When you guys see this truck you will be amazed, I only wish I had 10% of his talent. When he first told me of the paint scheme I thought ok it will look good but I never expected it to look this good.
