Yes, that's my car from the October 2006 lonestar shootout in Houston. It was running good that weekend till I twisted the rear yoke ears right off the driveshaft!Greg D wrote:Greg, this is your car too right?

Believe it or not, none of that twisting was body flex, as the car had full subframe connectors. The twist was all in the rear suspension, bottoming the right rear spring and hyperextending the left rear spring on launch.

Since that time, I have added the rear sway bar and a 6 point roll bar.....also changed the rear springs around some.... Body roll is now all but gone. Too bad, that was a fun ride while it lasted!

Greg, I understand the reasons for the improvements but I gotta say, it looked Cool as Hell! launching like before! Makes me miss my Grabber Blue 71 429 GT.
