2009 Pate Swap Meet

Post by Truckrat »

cheerleader.gif hurrah.gif jenkins.gif The 2009 edition of the Annual Pate Swap Meet at Texas Motor Speedway will be April 30-May 3. We have more than double the spaces (15) that we had last year(6). We will have the Slick 60s sign out there and will be located in Zone 3, Block 78, spaces 914-927 and 929. If you go to their web site
at pateswapmeet@aol.com you can look at the area map of the zones and find our spaces. Chris will be doing his friday night cookout again at his place, and we have a great place just down the road we all have breakfast together. You are all :welcome: to come hang out with us and have a "cold one" when you get worn out from walking. Bring a chair with you, and you can leave it in our spaces while you are out "bargain hunting" in the largest portable garage sale in Texas. By the time you get through it all you'll be needing a place to sit a spell. Come see us at Pate, or as we call it "Mini Slick Stock South" woohoo.gif
See ya there! Bolt.gif TR

Cold Ones

Post by Truckrat »

 Randy, by all means, be our guest and bring ALL the cold ones you want. Bring a chair with you, too. We tell everyone that so you'll have a place to sit after walking those LONG rows of parts out there. If you have been there, you know. What day(s) do you plan to be there? We have some things planned and you should definitely be there for them. TR :welcome:

Not wanting to invite myself but I havn't yet been able to make it to Pate but it looks like this year I can. Would it be cool if me and the Mrs dropped by on Saturday? The uni is far from road worthy but thought it would be cool to put some faces to the names

Come on by yall are welcome along with everyone else. I will be there Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday is iffy for me. Saturday is the Big day for Pate.

If anyone brings cold ones be sure to get cans as they frown on glass bottles

All come by I will have maps to my place for the cookout Friday night. This will be a fun time for all.

As soon as Skip decides ss_pokes2.gif which hotel he wants to stay at he should post that info as the hosting hotel. If you don't like that hotel I have a list of them.

I think TR and others are doing the camping thing at TMS this year, they have showers and bathrooms for campers and I think it's $20 for the whole weekend. He will have to fill you in on that.
