That's funny. Just saw a thread about it here from a sponsor on another site.

Thanks Chris, Yes it's coated, turned out pretty good. The gal at Cliffords couldn't understand why I would want one without the black powder coated finish. I guess I should send them a pic of how good they can look polished.

YES! It's under the Christmas tree now and the lights on the tree reflecting off the valve cover is so pretty... :D

That's the holy grail on Ebay and Craigslist. Love what you did with it. Looks better than the black IMO. You bought it a Cliffords? If you don't mind my asking, what did you pay for it?

I say holy grail, because they rarely if ever come up on ebay, and when the do, they want stupid money for them. Harder yet to find one on craigslist. I've been looking at the swap meets for some time, and have never found one. I don't see Clifford advertising them on their site anymore either.

Gerry, not sure if you have the funds or would even consider it, but there was a guy on the fordsix site that was making finned aluminum side covers. Always thought the valve cover and the side cover in bare aluminum would be an awesome combination. Would look really cool too, if the side cover was attached with acorn nuts on studs instead of regular bolts.
