Make sure it has the dual pattern to fit the early bell, Pre 65 has a smaller pattern and input shaft. And it needs a bunch of ancillary parts to make it work. If it is a 66 to 72 it is a three speed OD not a four speed. Has electrical switches, selonoid, wiring harness and a pull cable to cativate it. These also shifted by the three on the tree, so you will need a new wonder indy floor shifter.....And 250.00 Is real steep for a 75 buck transmission.
Outlawed in 73.......As it can be in gear with the engine off and will roll if in OD....Ralph Nader at work.
