As long as it isn't a Barry Grant I prefer a carb. I couldn't agree with you more. I have never in my life seen a carb like Barry Grant that is so tempermental. Ive been Drag racing for years with a bunch of buddies and one of my friends bought a Brand new Demon. This thing was junk right out of th...

I would always opt to have my rockers too loose than to tight. Good way to wear out your cam and lifters. Ive read the Lash was 19 but i don't remember where i read it. I need to do mine soon cause at idle i get a bit of chatter. Im gonna set mine at 17 Intake / 19 exhaust. Maybe 17 across the board...

Would be a good project truck. Rip out that 351C and throw a Windsor or such in there (maybe an FE), paint it nicely (keep the wheels, I love them) and then put a different (most likely stock) grill back into it and there you go. Even a mild 2 inch chop would look nice too. I like these trucks lowe...

Although the paint job on my grille ( Currently ) is horrible i actually like the way he had it painted. Only the Rectangles are painted. People actually compliment me on the grille all the time. They say it looks mean from a distance. Im not much into chrome. I much prefer my stuff painted. I guess...

Why is my grille different than this one.

So far i like the 223. My Only complaint is it is so damn slow. Im also used to driving Drag Cars and my everyday car is a Formula Firebird so i guess its not a fair comparison. I was told by an old timer at a gas station the other day that the Ford 223 was used in a variety of Industrial applicatio...

Honestly i cant answer all those Q's cause i dont know. My Rear end is a mystery that i havent gotten to yet. I recently installed a new coil and plugs and wires Cap and rotor. I have a 223 in my truck, I get 17-18 mpg. I have a 3.70 rear and just got a 3.25, I'm curious if I can squeeze a little more. As far as I understand, only a t-5 is the only newer trans that will work as Greg says and use his link to the fordsix forum, alot of good info. out there. Shame your not c...

i think ill stick to my 223 w/ a 3spd for now. Once i work all the bugs out of it i will cool out. Im just frustrated at Old stuff that people fix improperly and make my job harder. Thats the price we pay i guess. This nimrod ran in the mixture screw so far he actually broke the mixture screw housin...
