I'll take two of these... :D

Just kidding! :D

I believe generic is the way to go also, or just throw in something small for the group, maybe just something on the licence plate.
No matter what you may do I think it will look great and I will be interested in a few, including kids if you do that. 50/50 would be nice too.. 100% cotton is too dang hot sometimes. Long sleeve "t-shirts" are nice too.

I like the idea of a pocket logo and the big image on back.

These look great! I like the effect of the white/black ink on the darker shirt.

Nice work.

The last set of shirts were produced by Tim of the MAC with profit donated to the '06 slick stock fund.

Is this what you have planned?

If you use the clubs name in the shirt get written permission from Kid.

Long sleeve

Post by Long63 »

I've got a '63 Uni w/ the big window, so I'm liking the idea of the image on the back with a small logo on the front. Orange or blue. Would you consider making a long sleeve set as well? Its cold in the mountains here in East Tennessee.
You can put down for a large and some youth sizes for my kids.

No its just a shirt I want to sell to supplement my car hobby.
I wish I could go to slick stock. No time or cash this year.

Another reason for a more generic shirt.
I usually make a buck a shirt so I ain't getting rich.

Price will be around $20 and not above including shipping I hope.
Ill get the art finalized and get quotes next week.
My screener only takes cash so it gets real tight when
I do these since I pay him upfront on em
Someday I'll get another slick :(

I dunno. I like it. I could swing either way on the strait axle style. It's probably ok to nuke it. slick60 on the plate would be sweet.

I dont really like pocket designs on Tshirts... and I prefer cool stuff on the front. I think it should stay on the front.

I know it might be a bit more expensive, but if you could put the rear of the truck on the back, with a backside image of F100, that would be cool.

I doubt if Kid is gonna give permission. It was expressly laid out by Foodstick that this club is NOT FOR PROFIT. Not his, not anyone's. with NO membership dues. That's why they went thru all the legal rigmarole to get the name copyrighted, or trademarked, not sure which one.

Those shirts possibly could end up in direct competition with some Slickstock enterprise, meant to subsidize the club get-together every two years. That would NOT be a good thing in Lance's eyes IMO

(btw Lance/Foodstick is the absentee originator of the Slick 60's for those that don't know.)

I like it, you could try in the same style & font as the "strait axle style" just the word "Slick" at the bottom.

Kinda settles it then don't it. Don't really want to piss off the club. I'm not really interested in funding an event my truck won't make it to. I'd like to attend someday for sure but I sense a hint of drama if I sold them here.

Unless I hear otherwise from a higher up, Ill hold off.

My sincere apologies if I bummed anyone out.

i think the hood emblom ont this sites home page, the 1 with the lightning bolt but above says'' fordtruck.com'' above it would be cool if the use of this club was permitted. or mayb instead of saying fordtruck.com above the lighting mayb something like '66 FORD F100. mayb different years n models could be put there so they would be a bit more personal to who ever wheres it[/i]

we need some shirts with our style trucks on them, you cannot buy them anywhere , they allways have the 50's, but not the 60's the pictures and discussion from the fordification is great, that artwork is great, this website is what we need for our 60's group
