I t's hard to believe this country is backing Obama the way they are with his passed history,won't honor the pledge of allegiance,wants the flag changed,etc. It is pathetic!!!! Morans want change ,but what to. Greatest country in the world and this is all the Democrats can come up with to run.It is disgusting!!!!! Merle

OK - here goes --- my 2 pennies worth.....by the way I've followed this site for years but really have not had much to add (and this is no different), but here goes my 1st post.

I am 33 yrs. old and embarassed to say that I have never voted in my life. Needless to say I HATE politics and everything about it...but this year I made sure that my wife and I are registered, and cannot wait to cast my 1st ballot.
Funny thing is when Obama 1st came on the sceen I was talking to my wife ---hey, this Obama guy sounds kinda good...change, hope, different, young...I like this guy --- then as an American of average inteligence, I ask - change what? hope what? different how? and quickly ran out of substance on the guy. Then all the huge red flags pop up everywhere...ACORN, Rev. Wright, Bill Aires, Father Flager, Kenya's Prime Minister .... all reflections of Obama's CHARACTER and associations.
When it comes to politics no one knows if Obama's PLAN will work or if McCain's plans will work but what I can be sure about is a man's CHARACTER --- and of all attacks and negative things ever said about McCain not a single one has been about the man's CHARACTER !!!!!
In politics its highly unlikely that any President will get to do all the things he wants ---- but what I am concerend about is when push becomes SHOVE and my President has to make the tough decision I need to make SURE that decision is based on the CONSTITUTION, morals, and CHARACTER!!! The truth of the matter is really this -- with Obama concerning his political career, just NOT QUALIFIED to be PRESIDENT, and concerning his past...where there is that much smoke there IS FIRE!!

ELECTION IS NOT ABOUT VOTING FOR McCAIN, IT'S ABOUT STOPPING OBAMA!!!

By the way I am not a "BUSH GUY" by any means, but isn't it funny how quickly things change in America. Cause I am sure Bush had a lot of GREAT ideas when he was running for Pres. too, but a little thing called Sept. 11, 2001 happened and changed all that really quick....so on a side note "Mr. Bush this economy SUCKS, but I really appreciate you keeping my country SAFE for the last 7 years!!!" CHARACTER!!! --- what happens when everything changes during an Obama presidency??? Who knows there is NO CHARACTER to base his future decisions on!!!

I truely appologize for this gigantic post, and I promise it is the last of it's kind....sorry it was more like my $10.00 than my $.02....

You know its bad when so many commercials OBAMA THIS THAT, MACCAIN THIS THAT But now our phones have been busy today not with customers but with political bull last one got me Junior Johnson saying on a recording how he won 50 races and is behind OBAMA heck you want somebody without exp VOTE FOR ME I will at least live for one day cause they knock me off in that first day after I would like to start cleaning house with excess baggage in the white house, the go on TV Saying new man here bring this county back to the people, bring all foreign jobs back to us whats in Canada and Mexico can stay there,, war in Iraq, tough your on own our troops our coming home,, keep all the embassy's and troops where they are,, foreign exchange none of this 5 for 1 trade no way even trade,, Terrorist mess with us , ONE PLANE ONE BOMB YOU BETTER RUN SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE AFTER 911 we will strengthen our military support if a country is devasted by unknown forces we will help but not be there for years, this is what I would do for a start but within first day I would be knocked off cause I would not want to play there Political Games as president I want to be able to have the people be proud, I would be able to walk the streets and show that I care ask myself when Katrina hit why did Bush go right down in the thick of things and see where problems or say look you need authorization well I am president this is what need get it now or I will find somebody to do it if not will do myself maybe I am just asking too much but would say this past year where the midwest was getting flooded Average Joe was doing sandbags and Mr . President next to me doing it as well not for the publicity but because he cares that would stick with me so long anyway I have started a great post and food for thought

With every passing day, I seem to hear more of Nobama's dirty underbelly being exposed...yet the TV media says absolutely nothing, not a peep...even the most absolute basic stuff, like "does Nobama have a US birth certificate"? Not a peep.
But if Joe the plumber owes a grand in back taxes or didn't return a library book in high school, then by God, let's drag him over the coals! Anything to divert the sheeple's eyes away from the actual important stuff. I don't care if Joe is a "shady douche", Joe is NOT running for the top office in the land! If he WAS running, then by all means, check him out & expose his problems.

When the presidential candidates first started getting in line 20+ months ago, Nobaba & McCain are about the last two I expected to be still running at the finish line. There's almost zero about either one of these two that I like at all...so once again, I'm left with the decision of voting for not the BEST person, but rather the lesser of two evils.
Pathetic.

I am most definitely sick of the whole deal & am thoroughly disgusted with the direction things are going these days. Get ready for more taxes, folks.

You know...the other night I watched a documentary on PBS about LBJ's presidency. They didn't come out & say it, but I noticed the similarities between Nobama's & LBJ's plans are so similar it's downright scary.

I am sick to death of political ads. Try driving across country and hearing the local crap from every where else too, lol.
I tell you what though, you think you may want to vote for Barack Osama? Go through Chicago, if that don't change your mind you need to get your eyes checked. After what happened in NY 7 years ago how can ANYONE consider voting for a Muslim? Don't get me wrong, I know that not all of them are like that but there is such a thing as "limited risk". Was in NYC this week too, that will make you think twice too. There is a country song that asks the question "Have you forgotten?", I can tell you this they haven't out there! You can't justifiably anymore vote for anyone who is not firm on defending this country, unfortunately they are all abit too soft but we have to pick the best we can get.
I see bumper stickers like "Gas was $2.00 a gallon when Bush took office" the president DOES NOT set gas prices - the dumb asses! The economy takes a crap every election year and it's even worse when a 2 term president is going out, are our memories this short? You can believe ANYTHING the media says first off, if they aren't gonna tell the truth shut the hell up.
Early & Post Office voting are for people like me, the chances of me being in my district on Tuesday are pretty slim.

I just have to say it since others here are so vocal. What I am sick of it the sheer stupidity and hate of the average voter. Obama is a muslim, McCain has a black child. Both these guys have had lies and hate thrown their way. Folks get your head out of the sand and check out ALL the candidates out,period. Especially the one you are for. Seriously I don't know how anyone tell what is the truth on any of them anymore. I come down harder on the GOP for the simple reason the majority of them I see act like if you don't fall in line with their political agenda then your not a Christian. My child came home today in tears because one of her friends basically said if you are not a republician your not a christian. I do not understand that type of hatred taught to a child and then claim christianity. You have to understand in my family about half are GOP and half Dems. So this child was basically saying half my childs family are going to hell. The main reason many like me who are the independent crowd are not voting for the gop as much anymore is the hate and anger I see out of them. I personally do not think Obama is a muslim but I do agree with he was iin a church where the pastor spewed hate. It was hate just as much as the hate many pastors are spewing from the pulpit against anyone not a GOP voter. Hate just as much from the TV preachers out there today. Well this year I have decieded I will not vote for any republicain due to their over the edge hate tatics. I am sick of it period. I am not going to tell you who to vote for,but please don't take anyones word for it just do the reasearch on something other than Fox or Msnbc. You can check out factcheck.org which has the dirt on all the cadidates and also there is one that has a bunch of info and its called something about skeletons or something. I have read the bible not just thumped it and the impresion of Christ is I get is a kind loving and forgiving person. I personally would rather be that type of person than one who spews hate and anger at people I disagree with. So if the GOP wants to attack me I guess there was another guy 2000 years ago trying to spread peace I would rather be aligned to. I am still voting for Curly on the knuclehead party.

I too pine for a Bob Barr presidency. If only he had been able to get the financial support of Ron Paul (who's just a little too nutty for me) to get the word out he may have had a chance to be a spoiler. Sadly, he has zero chance because nobody knows about him outside of the few of us who are really paying attention.

Thus, my dilemma is trying to figure out if my state will matter or not. The GOP is working real hard to make PA count, though my gut tells me it will still be for Obama. Do I cast my vote against rampant leftist socialism, or do I cast it FOR the guy I truly believe represents me? Do I fall prey to the 'fear' of a far-left controlled government and try to get in a Democrat pretending to be a Republican that will hopefully curb at least some of the insanity? Or do I make a tiny, unnoticed vote for something else, which is probably what the Jefferson or Adams of our history probably want me to do? A quandry, indeed.

Probably will remain undecided until the ballot is in my hand.

Funny you guys say that, back before Obama won the democratic primary I made the statement that if Hillary won the Nov election I may have to move to Canada, lol.
There are other things at stake with these lefties than we are talking about like basic freedoms. If the worst of them get their way they will outlaw and then come around and round up all of our old vehicles as "environmentally unfriendly" and crush them. They want us ALL driving Prius's! Take a look at California where abit more of this has gotten a hold, special emissions for that state even on lawn equipment! If the ones who have gotten this goofy stuff passed really had their way it would be much much worse.

Ya VOTE for the lesser evil in this case. Personaly, I have not come accross ANY ONE PERSON who is comfortable with Obama.

Anyone with Obama's background (what little of it has been disclosed) could not get a job with the CIA. How can he be Commander in Chief??

The MEDIA has annointed this guy, and they want us to believe he's got it in the bag.

We just gotta follow through and VOTE. I'm going tomorrow (early) to cast my vote for McCain.

Not just because JC thinks Sarah Palin is HOT either.
