aluminum driveshaft in a slick?

Anybody using an alum. driveshaft? I just got a trac loc diff from a newer car that has the flange type d/s mount for an alum.d/s.I also have the original cruis-o-matic transmission

65.I just thought I'd replace the original while I have the bed off.It's not cracked yet and still usable,just a bit hard.
I dont need it NOW but will pretty soon.
Do you have both?Let me if you find it and how much

I dont think it matters?????There is a plug on the left side under the floorboard that is a 3 prong connector that goes to the rear bumper then splits off to 2 way connectors to the taillights and license plate.So I guess I would be looking for stock

OK.Thanks.Igot that part down with the shims and bearing.I thought there shold be a clearance in there but couldnt remember how much.I think I saw .002 at one time for the f100. Anyway 1 side took 3 and it went good.Started with 3 one the other side and hand 2 much play.Went with 1 more and it was a...

I'm replacing kingpins and bushings right now.There is 8 shims that come with the kit.What is the clearance betqween the spindle and I beam,or is it 2 on top and 2 on the bottom?

I am going to make my own fuel tank for relocation.Will the factory sending unit work for this or do I need another type like mustang or??? any ideas

I have a 75 f250 in my 65.If you use the original column it has to be shortened.Not hard to do.
