buy a mm2 front end kit, a lot of the companies offer teh 4.6 motor mount kits, same as a 5.4 i believe.as you mentioned you have the complete mustang, so it shouldn't be too hard. you'll need all teh computer and bs to make it work, or you can order an aftermarket stand alone comp system for the en...

your lifters wear with your cam. if you mix them upi you can cause some damage.
i think thats what the others were trying to say.
if your not sure what lifters go where, buy some new lifters, not a cam.your new lifters will wear into the cam and be fine.

if its just a motor a carb plate is fine, but if trans, converter and fluid all all attached i don't trust the 4 5/16 carb studs that are direct pull into aluminum. i like to use the mentioned adjustable adapter anchored to the front acc bolts and if ya can make it reach the trans to block bolts or ...

what are you trying to achieve?
laying rockers or just a lower stance. a "body drop" or channel is a shit load of work. a properly built 61-63 i know will lay rockers without cutting the floor, never messed with a 65, but i doubt there much different as far as cab mount heights and such go.
