I hope mine looks that good some day! I have pretty much decided to do the same conversion to 4WD on mine, but go with a work truck/beast version.
I had considered changing to a longbed like that cause I knew it would look good... It is as beautiful as I thought it would be. Very nice truck!!!

Re: Finally Got a bed for 1966 Crew F350
I am going to have to move the boxes from the front of the bed to the back to make room for the tires.

Finally Got a bed for 1966 Crew F350
After checking into things, it seems that the best thing for me to do was to get a flatbed/servicebed for my truck for now. When I redo the whole thing and pimp it out, I'll probably move the rear axle to use a styleside LB. But for now, I just want to be able to use it like a truck ;-) So after a b...

Re: 1965 crew 4x4
That came out real nice. This the one that was and F350 right? Did it come with the small radius front fenders when you got it?

Re: PFM's 65 Crew Cab F250
Chris, that is coming together nicely my man! Even with the primered bed, that is a sharp truck.
Thanks for the measurement
Mine is about 48" from bed to center of the axle.
Thanks for the measurement

Re: '66 F351... What bed did it come with???
Thanks Fire Truck! I guess it makes sense that they would stretch all of the frames on one jig to fit one bed version given the low volume of the crew offering. I have a better chance of finding an 8ft wrong bed than the 9ft Wrong bed from an F350 standard cab anyway, if I decide to go that route. A...

Re: '66 F351... What bed did it come with???
Thanks Iceman! That's a cool brochure. Where did you get the images? That was helpful... I am assuming that the bed information would be the same for my crew, but I'm pretty sure that wheelbase number is a little short for mine :D I think NumbersDummy was saying that a 6 digit DSO number meant it ha...

'66 F351... What bed did it come with???
So I am curious what bed my Slick -o- pache came with originally?
I'm wondering if the DSO # would answer that question... was it one of those 9' beds or something else?

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Re: New Guy Here (66 Crew Pictures Added)
I finally got home tonight... I have some pictures I'll put up in a few days other than the VIN plate. I have a few new ones in my gallery now. Truck runs like a top! It has new brakes with brand new "pizza cutter" tires on it. Looks to be 7x17's. Had all of the stuff Fire Truck and the ot...
